You should be a student or recent graduate from Mawuli, registered in a tertiary institution. Students from other schools are welcome to apply. You will then be assigned a mentor to match your career goals after the screening process. The program manager will try and find mentors who are alumni of schools from which student apply. If none is found, an OMSU member will be assigned as a mentor until one is found
Mentoring is free to all students.
i. Signup with your school counsellor (or directly for tertiary students)
ii. Complete an application and fill out a profile form
iii. Get assigned to a mentor
iv. You mentor will guide you through conversation about goal setting and career path discussions
v. You will be required to commit to monthly check-ins with your mentor to track progress
Efforts are made to assign mentors of the same gender and related career roles. So for example, if your are a female students who wants to study medicine, you will be matched to a female medical doctor or health ptactioner
The program typically lasts 1 to 2 years but extensions are possible
